Which companies are actually shipping humanoid robots in 2025?
From what I can gather:
Actually deploying (limited):
- Figure - working with BMW at their Spartanburg plant
- Agility Robotics (Digit) - has deals with Amazon, though I believe these are pilots
- Boston Dynamics (Atlas) - the new electric version is in testing with Hyundai
Announced but not shipping:
- Tesla Optimus - factory testing internally, no external customers yet
- 1X Neo - mostly demos so far? Shipping in 2026 they say.
Shipping
- Unitree
Unclear:
- Sanctuary AI Phoenix
- Apptronik Apollo
Am I missing anyone? And more importantly - has anyone here actually seen one of these in person outside of a trade show?
Would be curious to know what the actual deployment numbers look like. The press releases are quite vague about scale.

Good list. I'd add that Fourier Intelligence (GR-1) is shipping units too, mostly in Asia. And Xiaomi showed their CyberOne but unclear if that's actually being deployed anywhere. Basically China is ahead here and you'll see more deployments there first.
But ya, the deployment numbers are definitely being kept quiet. My guess is we're talking dozens to maybe low hundreds of units total across all companies. Not thousands.
The Amazon/Agility deal is interesting because warehouses are probably the most realistic near-term use case. Controlled environment, repetitive tasks, 24/7 operation makes sense for robots.
Thanks for the additions. Fourier is a good call - they've been pretty active in the rehabilitation space too. Updated my mental model.
